Ceramics is a timeless craft that combines creativity, skill and love. From ancient pottery to modern art, ceramics have been part of human culture for thousands of years.

It all starts with clay, which transforms into beautiful objects through the firing process. Working with clay is a hands-on and rewarding experience, which I share with you through my art.

You can shape the clay with your hands, mould it on a potter’s wheel, or sculpt it into designs. After forming your piece, it’s time for the first firing, called bisque firing, which turns clay into ceramic.

Next comes glazing, where you can choose colours and finishes by giving your piece a unique look and texture.

The second firing brings out the vibrant colours and glossy finish. For me, ceramics means creating a safe space for mindfulness and therapy.

The process allows me to slow down and focus on each unique piece I create.

Each piece isn’t always planned; sometimes, inspiration comes in dreams or in the moment of creation.

Working with clay connects me to the Earth and my surroundings, giving me a deep bond with nature.

This is why I choose to use ancient methods of hand-building and firing.

I hope through my work, you find something that speaks to you. Happy looking!
