Earth‑Rooted Practice
Rooted in the wild landscapes of Cornwall and shaped by my Mauritian heritage, I create vessels, pigments, and earth‑based artworks that honour place, ancestry, and the quiet stories held within the land. Working with wild clay, organic materials, and natural colours, my practice is a conversation with the earth slow, intentional, and deeply connected to the rhythms of nature.
As an environment artist, ceramicist, and permaculturist, I collaborate closely with primal elements, allowing raw textures and unaltered materials to speak with honesty. Each piece becomes a meditation on belonging: to soil, to memory, to the landscapes that shape us.
My work weaves ancestral craft with contemporary ecological awareness, creating a living thread between ancient earth‑based wisdom and our modern world. Through this practice, I invite a return to slowness, reciprocity, and embodied presence a reconnection with the earth as collaborator, witness, and keeper of memory.
Vessels for Home & Ritual
My vessels are created to live with you in many ways as functional companions, ceremonial objects, or quiet sculptures that hold story and presence. They can become altar pieces, objects for sacred corners, centrepieces for the home, or vessels used in ritual and ceremony. Each one is shaped to hold meaning, memory, and a sense of grounding.
Every vessel I create is formed from the land and the four elements, carrying its own character and story. I never repeat the same design twice your piece will be entirely unique, a one‑of‑a‑kind work to be held, cherished, and passed down through generations.
