A slow, personal journey into clay.
A moment to step out of the rush and into a quieter rhythm just you, your hands, and the gentle hum of the studio.
My 1–1 pottery sessions (or small, intimate groups of up to two) are created as a soft landing place. A space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the simple act of making. Whether you’re touching clay for the very first time or returning to a practice your body remembers, you’ll be held with warmth, presence, and care.
We begin with a grounding ritual a breath, a moment of stillness, an intention placed quietly into the clay. From there, the session unfolds at your pace. Hand‑building, shaping, coiling, refining. Space for curiosity, conversation, or silence. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.
Across 2.5 hours, you’ll explore form, texture, and heritage‑inspired processes. All tools and materials are ready for you when you arrive. We share a seasonal tea brewed from herbs gathered on my allotment. And together we create a calm, supportive atmosphere where you can slow down and make without pressure.
You’ll finish with 1–2 pieces that I’ll fire for you ready to collect or posted once they’ve completed their transformation in the kiln.
If you feel called to step into the studio, I’d love to welcome you.
